Through an empirical process, we work with our clients and suppliers to ensure that our molds meet the parameters for quality, precision, and industry standards. We use the same process every time, ensuring that our quality is second to none. We believe in transparency. So we have outlined our process below so that you know what to expect during your project- from start to finish.
The inception phase includes an RFQ initiated by the client including 3D part design. During this initial phase, we examine the feasibility of initial part designs and assess the project's needs. The initial offer will include information such as steel type, mold lifetime, number of cavities, lead time, and estimated cycle time. We provide an inclusive quotation for the requested mold. Upon acceptance of the quote, we provide an order confirmation and determine the obligations of all parties.
A project plan outlines the scope of the project, stakeholder communication norms, assigned tasks, production plan, project checklists, responsibilities, risks, review points, and time to FOT.
A DFM report assesses the product design for efficiency, mold flow analysis, manufacturing feasibility, process analysis, geometric design and general tolerances according to DIN 16901.
Mold 3D Design involves creating, simulating and testing a mold design using CAD software for efficient and accurate manufacturing.
The customer approval phase of the mold design involves review and final approval of the mold design before manufacturing begins.
Mold Production is the realization of the mold design, mold material selection, machining, finishing, assembly, and testing for mass production.
The Mold Trial tests the injection mold, producing and inspecting parts to ensure design specifications and quality. There are often several trials and mold adjustments to ensure product consistency.
Sample Inspection involves examining prototypes and initial production samples for design accuracy, product specifications, quality control, and continuous improvement.
The Customer Approval stage involves prototype presentation, customer review, feedback and revisions, and final approval of the finished mold.
Mold Delivery includes shipping, customs, and mold delivery to the client’s final destination.
As part of our quest to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their product, we offer ongoing service and support after the delivery and installation of the mold at the clients’ production facility.
